Deliberative Polling Case Study: Pennsylvania

In September, residents of Allegheny County Pennsylvania gathered to participate in a deliberative polling project on local government issues (particularly policing). The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette describes the effort. This week the Program for Deliberative Democracy published a report on the Allegheny Forum that offers an interesting perspective of the possibilities of deliberative polling.
